Violinist Nguyen My Huong and pianist Dao Trong
Tuyen will perform in a concert on Wednesday to commemorate the 245th
birthday of composer Ludwig van Beethoven.
The Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO ) will perform a
"Mozart&Beethoven" concert at l''Espace, the French cultural centre
in Ha Noi, on Wednesday and Thursday.
A performance titled Concert for Spring, featuring the most talented
musicians in Ha Noi, will be held tonight at 8pm at Manzi Art Space, 14
Phan Huy Ich Street.
A live music show will feature original songs by Vietnamese composer Duong Thu and Vietnamese versions of contemporary operas, new age songs and neo-classical melodies by famed duo Secret Garden.
Quach Hoang Nhi, from the Viet Nam National Academy of Music, won first
prize in the third Mozart International Piano Contest, which ended in
Bangkok on Thursday.
